Track lighting in the day.

rafalgt

Welcome.
Is it possible to track lighting in the day?
Is it possible to set the time at which the light is turned on?
Are there objects on the track, which can shine all day?

Usually you have Omnilights defined in .scn file of the track.

These omnilights will be named NIGHTLIGHT01, NIGHTLIGHT02 or something like that.

If you create a GMT file and name it NIGHTLIGHT01GLOW then if will only be rendered, when omnilight named NIGHTLIGHT01 is active.

As for setting custom time for switching lighting on and off, I don't believe you can do that.

I don't know if you can create an omnilight, that is enabled all the time. I believe you can't.

The question for me is, why do you want to have lights on at daytime?

And what do you mean with "Are there objects on the track, which can shine all day?"?
How shall it look?
Do you have an example?

I didn't tested it but to have the Nightlights active at daytime, you maybe can simply change the sky-textures and the ambient ... colours of the track, that are used for the night, into the ones that are used for daytime and set the racetime in the rules to e.g. 10.00 pm.
But notice: All changes in the *.gdb-file of the track will cause online-mismatches
