When putting in the ke it say could not connect to server

bought the game sunday and good the key right away and put it in and every time it say could not connect to server i aloud it in the fire wall and ran as adminstrator and it still says the same thing and help i even took my wireless router out and hooked from the modem to the pc any help would be great
 
Do you use an antivirus-software?
And if yes, which one and full or free version?
 
Unfortunately i have no experience with the online version, i use the DVD-Version.
Maybe the server is down?
Did you contact the support?
 
i did and i did wat ther told me and it didnt work and emailed them back and they have not got back with me
 
I've just installed the Online-Version to test it and here it works. I get an errormessage because my DVD-key isn't accepted but that shows that i can connect to the server.

Seems that something is blocking the connection at your computer.

I don't know what the ISI support have told you to do.

Did you try:
- starting rFactor as administrator (rightclick on shortcut and choose "run as administrator")
- follow the instructions of the FirewallGuide that you find in the folder [rFactor]/Support
 
did all the firewall stuff and it till isnot working geting kind of pissed
 
Did you try to directly contact Tim Wheatley and tell him about the problem, maybe he has another solution or can manually register you?
