Greetings, all.
Odd question from a noob - I have installed the demo version of the RF app and was wondering about the way it behaves. The testing session with the default vehicle seems to run itself. The steering, shift points (all at the red line regardless of my input from the paddles), the racing line, etc. run like a movie. I had a heck of a time trying to get the car to pit. The only inputs that seem to come from me (via a Logitech G27) are accel. and braking.

Is this normal? Would I be correct to assume that this is intended to display the app's capabilities? I assume that the full version of the app would behave more 'normally'?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

You can use the f1, f2, etc keys to turn off racing line help, autoshifting, auto clutch, etc etc etc, you can also go into the controller options to change the buttons for these

Wow! That was fast. Thanks for the reply.
I should have thought about something like that but it never occurred to me - I'm new to PC gaming.
Let me get back into the app and see what I can figure out.

All the best.

No problem my sim racing brother haha. There are many buttons you can edit in the options. Start out with high amounts of traction control and abs, gradually take them down a notch as you get more accustomed to the vehicle dynamics.
