If cost is an issue, then rF1. To race rF2 online for more then a year, it will cost you every year unless you buy the lifetime version. The lifetime version costs nearly 3 times as much as rF1.
rF1 has nearly 8 years worth of content ready to download for free. rF2 is still very young, and doesn't have any content/mods that interest me YET!
