Will rFactor work in Ubuntu 10.10 & Wine?

Hi guys- Its been awhile since playing this game and laptop crashed and we had to install ubuntu 10.10 for now. Found my activation key and downloading now and while waiting the 4 hrs for it to download was just wondering if in fact it will work under this OS and any procedures I may need to do. Linux is brand new to me. Thanks

Yes, it runs and works. I have not tried harder like i.e. multiplayer.

I have noticed some strange shadow before and after car (I do not know - like some kind of problem with LOD).

No one connects to this server, so it is running, but not working.

Dedicated under linux needs some timeout configuration. Than it sometimes appears in the lobby. It also suddenly disconects players sometimes. It is also not possible to connect via IP.
