Windows 8 - Purchased before November 2012 - Can't activate 1255c.

Guys, first of all, I am Brazilian, so sorry for my English.

I no longer know how to make my rFactor work with Windows 8.

I bought rFactor before November 2009. As per the instructions on this page (http://rfactor.net/web/rf1/help/reactivating-rfactor-on-your-computer/), I requested the conversion of my old code to purchase the new code on this page (http :/ / rfactor.net/rfactor1/forgot_product_key.php).

After a few days, I received an email with the subject "Your Product Activation Code for rFactor" sent by "support@trymedia.com." In this email I received my activation code and a link to download my rFactor. So far so good, but the big problem is that I can only activate with this rFactor installer: http://d.trymedia.com/d/imagespace/rfactor1255/imagespace/rFactorSetup1255.exe, and I am using Windows 8, so I need the version 1255c.

If I try to activate my rFactor with the activation code that I received by email in any 1255c installation, I get the following message: "invalid key (the dashes were found)."

I'm dead. I do not know what else to do.

Please help me.

im having same problem it says invalid key missing dashes - when I put my activation key in
