Yup, another Win*x64 post...

I have installed Win8 and discovered the issues with Win8x64 and been all over these boards (and google) and still cannot get rfactor to start. my problem is that it is the rconfig.exe that crashes so I do not know if the cracks that others have gotten to work will on my system or not. I copied all files from my original Win7 machine install to the Win8 machine and it still tries to run the video test every time. So my question is does anyone know how to bypass the video test and could you please post it here?

You have to run rF Config.exe as admin. Even if you have UAC disabled. Also, make sure you have DirectX9 installed.
