problems activating v1255g with old activation code

Hi

I recently upgraded from an old Windows Vista computer to a Windows 8.1 computer.
I found the version of R-Factor I was using on the Vista computer wouldn't open on the 8.1 computer.

So downloaded the latest v1225g version.
Now it works, I can use the demo but I can't activate it using the code I was given when I purchased R-Factor
My code is a different format and has no dashes, the activation screen declines my code saying it needs dashes ?

I sent an email to support but after a couple of weeks, I've received no reply
Could anyone assist please ?

Hmmm, i am a little confused now, i thought that:

what, in my eyes, should solve your problem with the wrong code-format. You need a key now instead of the old code.
Or what do i understand wrong?

I have filled this out twice and been waiting a week now and still no reply. Geez redag take a chill pill or something.

I am having the same problem. Since I purchased Rfactor when it was first released many years ago and my email address has changed the simple conversion process of asking for a new key won't work. It would be sent to an non existent email. The other option on the page is to give the order number, old address at time of purchase, new email, etc. and submit and wait for a key. That process has so far not generated a reply.

Although I only sent in my request for a new activation code this morning, I am a little concerned reading so many posts about getting no response. I think with the release of Virtua-LM's mod yesterday, ISI may see a number of these requests coming in. I'm like many, bought RF1 many years ago [2007?] but when RF2 was released and our league made the switch, I built a new PC and never bothered re-installing RF1. Got a few days vacation now and would really like to try out VLM's mod but not keen on getting no response from ISI. Yeah, I know they would like to take a like vacation time too so I'll just add on a plea of "Pretty Please?" to my request.
