Support for 3 screens

Hi:

I just bought rFactor since my friends are into it, they've modded our local track and I feel lonely on iRacing.

Could anybody share their experience getting 3 monitors to run on rFactor? I am using a Laptop with a base station, connected to 3 external monitors. Works great for iRacing but I have yet to figure it out for rFactor. Long story short, I am not using specific graphic cards that support multiple monitors, but I am able to support 3 external monitors in Windows with the laptop on the base station. And again I have been able to get iRacing to work on all 3 screens in this configuration.

I have installed SoftTH which created a very wide virtual monitor (the width of all 3 monitors). I'm hoping someone here might have some experience to share. When the game starts all seems to be great and I get SoftTH logos on both left and right screens, while the middle one shows the rFactor demo. Within the game menu I can see the mouse cursor when I go to the left and right monitors. So all seems good and this tells me SoftTH is properly configured with regards to screen size and relative positions (in the ini file).
When I switch to driving though, only the middle monitor is supported. It looks like the game is trying to render the left and right, but the left and right renderings are very compressed on the very edges of the middle screen.

Any help with SoftTH or any other software that will allow 3 screens to work would be appreciated.

By the way I can get all 3 screens to "work" by switching to windowed mode in rFactor and centering the window on all 3 screens, but the performances are really slow.

Thanks,
JS

I imagine what SoftTH presents to a game changes little whatever SoftTH itself is doing (presumably that's pretty much the point of it). So if SoftTH is presenting a 6000x1000 screen size to the game and the game works with it, then whether SoftTH is bringing together 2 screens, 4 screens, 3 screens, equal or different sizes, makes no difference to whether the game works. And at least one member in my league was running 3 screens with SoftTH in fullscreen without issue in rFactor.

I can't offer any suggestions as I haven't done it myself, and if he had any particular issues I'm not familiar with them.
