Hi !
Currently we are discussing in our online league about slightly different handlings on different formula 1 cars, while we are using the similar performance on every car.
Normally, so i thinked, the whole car physic and handling is controlled by the car.HDV, engine.INI, damage.INI, gears.INI, headphysics.INI, susp.pm, tires.TBC - doesn't matter how the 3d shape looks or which "optical" wheelbase it has. So, if all cars are using the same physic (performance/handling), all cars are 100% the same in drivability and speed.
But it seems that this isn't right, can someone say something about this mystery? ^^
I've tested now with a "moded" Megane Tropy Cup because as all of you know this cars are ways different as an formula 1 car
... narrower wheelbase, higher and so on
I've used all performance files from our formula 1 mod (car.HDV, engine.INI, damage.INI, gears.INI, headphysics.INI, susp.pm, tires.TBC) and inserted them on the Megane Trophy Mod.
Now i've started an Testday on the same Track as im actually driving in the Formula 1 and noticed that my car is oversteering ways more. Especially in long, fast corners my car looses all the grip - which makes sense, in case of that "short" wheelbase.
Would be cool if someone can say someting
