Help with control mapping.

Hello everyone, I'm a Novice to rFactor, Sorry for the trivial question, but I'm having a problem mapping the controls for my thrustmaster F430. rFactor recognizes the controller but the padels are not set up for the shift up and down. When I try to select shift up or down (or any control for that matter) with the mouse the left mouse button automically assigns itself to the control as 'Joy2 B24'. Can anyone help me with this?

Do you somehow have your mouse set up as a controller with the button set up to act as a double click in 3D games? I seem to remember someone a long time ago with a similar problem but he had some software (perhaps the mouse driver software or 3rd party utility) set up in such a way that his mouse acted as a controller where one button press would act as a "double-click" while in full screen 3D mode. The mouse button should just be ignored in rFactor if pressing it as a controller unless the mouse is somehow set up as a controller. Sorry, I can't remember the details as it was a few years back.

The only other thing I can think of is someone mentioning something about the “Manettino” dial being in a certain position on that wheel causing assignment issues but I don't think this would result in having your mouse button being assigned as a controller.

My mouse is doing the same thing so I can't assign controls anymore.

Wheel: Logitech G27

That sounds like Joy2 B24 is permanently switched on, so it gets assigned to whichever control you're trying to map. Do you have a 2nd controller attached, and if so are there any buttons stuck down or is it in gear?
