Internet thread: Just fun!

The best representation of the Trophy car I've seen online. Well done on finding that. I still remember hearing this sound for the first time in 2010 at Poznań track driven by Kubica. It was like an angry wasp. Buzzing into my eardrums. I recall it being JUST a tad quieter than R29 (which was mainly the ear melting high pitched sound of V8. I even stood on a grass like 3 m away from the line he was driving in R29, on on a grass at the end of back straight at Poznań track when Kubica passed me and I took the picture... Then I remember almost losing my balance because of the punch of compressed air, pressure bubble that was pushed in front of the car. My ability to hear clearly was almost gone for a whole day. People thought I was slow or sth because I was talking really loud and slow after that xD).

I really hope that new, updated Megane that is coming is going to have better sounds because it is one of the best sounding machines I've heard live (outside some really extreme machines). Even standing like 100 m away it can send shivers down your spine. Imagine what it does when you are standing next to it being at full revs. Woah.
Sadly, the next Renault R.S. 01 doesn't sound as good.
But i'd still like to see it in rF2 :)

I'm really starting to wonder why these kind of setups are almost ALWAYS set up really bad, unbelievable... camera, field of view, on screen wheel......

A great example of how knowledge does not = understanding:

Interesting video on human eye image persistence:
