There was a topic posted on NoGrip asking which sim had the most accurate Nordschleife. http://www.nogripracing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=218242
Many different opinions bounced around and someone said the rFactor versions were crap. So I found a great in-car of the real ring using a Subaru Forrester STi of all things and went about poorly trying to copy the lap that featured a towtruck slowdown second to last corner. And an exciting race between the Forrester and a GT3 Porsche.
This video was created by me playing the Forrester lap on my 9 inch netbook and while watching that driving the lap on my pc. VERY VERY Hard to do. Excuse the crashing!
I had to use v 2.21 as my Aussie friend wanted to drive it with me and didn't have 2.2a. The only really obvious bit that isn't correct is the small strait under the scaffold by the old pits which IS correct in V2.2a
If anyone here thinks they can do the lap better I welcome them too. Just match it to this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjMlCL-2jaQ&fmt=22 and send me the replay file
