Please help with car modelling

MotorsportBoy97

Hi I would like anyone to help me use 3ds max for an rf model (f1 car) so that I can start modelling for rfactor, any video or written tutorias would be great, or even just any advice about modelling.

yes ofc ive heard of google, I needed help which is why I created the thread. its not easy for me to get my head around what people on yt or google say so I wanted tips and just general info e.g. to do this u have to .... or ...this tool does this...

Let me ask the other way round. Do you have any experience or better, skills with 3DSMax?

Normally all information you need are given in the hundreds of videos that you can get in the www.
And when you are able to use 3DSMax, it should be no problem to create what you want.

basically the problem is im tryin to model a 1964 Honda, or a 2014 f1 nose (to put on another mod) but I cant seem to be able to finish the models because I find them too hard to actually do. the Honda seems like the easiest one i've done so far but I just need help with like how to go about it (if u know what I mean)

...... (if u know what I mean)

No, not really.

On one side it sounds as if you have already finished a car ("the Honda seems like the easiest one i've done so far") and on the other side it sounds as if you wouldn't even know how to start modelling ("so that I can start modelling for rfactor").

Again the question: do you have any skills in using 3DSMax?

no not really, I know how some of the tools work and the basics of modelling (from watchin video tutorials and stuff) but its the detailing toward the back of the cars. I have started the front of the Honda and im happy with it but the back is a bit more detailed and don't know what to do.

I think i can not help you out in another way as suggested before.

Use the available tutorial-videos on Youtube.

AND 3DSMax itself has some very helpful tutorial-videos too.
