rFactor server connection problem

I just purchased rFactor online. I was using the demo and it was working perfectly. I then bought the full version, and when I input my activation code and email I get this error message.

"Could not connect to server. Please try again."

Can someoneplease tell me if I am doing something wrong, of if there is anything that I can do about this?
 
Do you have any Anti-Virus-Software running? Maybe rFactor is blocked to connect to the Internet.
 
I have the same problem and no anti virus on this computer purchase works and demo works the activate doesn't seem to be working.

And you both got the rFactor Installer from THIS website and followed the instructions from this site?

Sounds like you got the 'F' version when you need the 'G' version

I have the 'G' version and got the rFactor installer from this website and followed the instructions. I was able to use the activation code on a different computer, but not on the one that is my own. I don't know much about computers, so I don't know what could be preventing this.
 
There must be something blocking the rFactor internet access.
Can be caused by Windows or 3rd party AntiVirus Software..., hard to say without access to your computer.

Try to find somebody in your family/friends with more computer-knowledge as you have (like you say), who can take a look at it.
