Rfactor will not count my laps??

I am fairly new to sim racing. I have only been into it for about a month now. I usually only play dirt mods, such as Dirt Motorsport 16. it will not let me play online so i normally I will play on race weekend. Today it was working fine then I noticed it wasn't counting my laps. first I thought maybe it was the track I was on so I went and tried a hand full of tracks that has always worked fine in the past and now they will not count my laps either. I have tried to switch mods to different dirt mods and even the ones that come on rfactor when you purchase it and it still does the same thing. Can anyone help??

Also can someone give me advise on why it will not let me play online. I have tried all the dirt mods and I click on an active race, it will usually let me drive for 1-2 seconds then it will kick me out and send me back to the menu. Any advise?

Play online you can do BUT if you NOT have same files installed when it comes to mod or track that server host then you join the server and server chat say that u missing a file and kick you out aoutomatic
after load a track that server not have or wrong car that you not have installed.
So look in race series in the online lobby if a server host the mod u have installed when you find a server take a look so that serveralso host the track you have installed
if server is in a race it you can not join
server can be join in practice Q warmup depending how server host has allow people to jion the server many servers have also password then u must now the pw search after a website or in the lobby mark the server and hope that they have write the site in the info
About not count laps can it be track fault too se lap times klick enter until the laptimes you do is show in the LCD.
