rFactor1 problem with new GTX 970

Hi there,

I need your help. I have the GTX 970 G1 gaming. I am absolutely satisfied with the graphics card. There is only one problem. The game rFactor1 does not work with the new graphics card. With my old HD 6870 card, the game rFactor1 works properly. FarCry4, rFactor2, Assetto Corsa also runs with the new graphics card. I have, in my view everything imaginable Tried. My system was installed from scratch with the new graphics card. I've tried all the drivers. The game starts up, it comes in different distances from the crash. rFactor no longer works. All settings in the Nvidia Control Panel have also helped.
I hope you can help me or have a solution for me.

did you try the good old:
1. set the Windows UAC to the lowest level
2. run rFactor as Administrator

From my testing it seems to be a problem with ultra high frame rates causing a crash. At least with the fps capped I can do few laps with out a problem.

Go to folder you installed rfactor to, now navigate to userdata and then to your profile name and open the PLR file that also has your profile name. Find the line that says Max Framerate="0" and cap the fps. I set it to 120. I had to do this to all rfactor based sims like GTL, GTR2, GSC and COPA PETROBRAS DE MARCAS.
