The full pack contains 3 cars 2012/13, each has 6 liverys and the pack is available for 4 €

Is it possible to convert Skins from rF2 to rF1? I gave it a try but unfortunately some parts of the car are missing now. :D
 
I think I found a little bug: In the T5 Touring 2013 mod => MauresT5 2013 there is a car called "Maures T5 #04 2012", but I think it should be "Maures T5 #04 2013" because it's the T5 2013 mod^^

OK, DTM cars do not race by night, but it's a big limitation to realism. :(

Also, but this is a minor issues, the mod uses the standard ugly rFactor Hammer safety car that is a punch in an eye...

Much better with the Mercedes CLK 63 AMG F1 Safety Car by MMG instead of the ugly Hammer. ;)
If only there was a template...


 
Guys, don't waste your money on this mod/dlc: yes, it's high quality but unlike the original rF2 version is clearly unfinished!!! :mad:

The current version is v1.5 and after some days of tests this is what I verified.

- Not working lights:




- All the cars don't have the wipers, but messing with the files I discovered that the Aura/Audi has its wiper but it's not enabled because the other two cars don't have it; I was able to enabled it, check the pictures:




- The RPM bar has incomplete features; in the mod there are the same textures of the rF2 version with green, yellow and red leds (check this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyHpRoNdj8A) but in game is only in yellow.

- Some issues with the AI that thinks that the cars are narrower than what they are, so they collide a lot with the walls, they go too far with the curbs, and on some tracks they aren't able to exit the pits.
On narrow circuits you'll find parts of the AI cars everywhere after some laps. :(

- This is probably a my issue because I never used mods with DRS before, but there isn't any kind of instructions on how to use or enable this feature in T5 2013.


I contacted Mr. Ales Ogrinc via PMs pointing out all these issues, and after an initial response he started to ignoring me; I tried also via email but with no luck: great customer support! :mad:

So... BEWARE T5 FOR RF1!!!
 
So you got wipers actually working in rf1 ? That's impressive since don't even work in rf2 :p

Maybe, just maybe, they have been disabled because they CAN NOT wipe ??
 
Not exactly: by default they are completely missing, but the 3D model of the Aura has the wiper, only it's not enabled.
There is the 3D of the wiper, there are some common textures for the wipers (actually not linked to the 3D so they aren't used).
But it doesn't mean that, once enabled, it's animated or functional (I don't think it's possible in rF1).
However they are disabled because URD didn't complete the conversion from rF2, clearly with all these issues the v1.5 is still a WIP that probably will never be completed judging by the customer support that I received... :(

By the way, as far as I know in the rF2 version the lights work and the wipers are present for all the three cars (but I don't know if they are functional).

So to me the rF1 version looks like a cheap conversion sold to get some easy money.

You are allowed to have an opinion, but if the wiper was "enabled" as you call it, then people would begin asking when it would be animated - ISI have shown that it will again at some point in rf2, but never in rf1... So then that would be the reason for claiming it's a half arsed conversion, right ?

Sounds like you are just bitter and wan't to announce that you are able to look at the car in 3dsimed or whatever, hurray :p

But did you read about the AI problems?
That is a game breaking bug, it's basically impossible to enjoy a race versus the AI with this mod.
Also the not working lights is a serious missing feature.

I posted the issues of the wipers and of the RPM bar only to further prove that the mod is unfinished.

Why doesn't Mr. Ales Ogrinc answer?
Why doesn't he provide any kind of support, neither about the DRS question?

I started this in private, keeping a low profile, with some PMs reporting these issues and asking if I could expect a fix: I didn't want to be polemic.
But after waiting days without a response but at the same time seeing that he was here on the forum, posting, I sent him an email.
After two other days I decided to post all the matter publicly.

The fact is that there are free mods that works much better than this T5!!!

Do you think that I'm proud that I enabled the wiper in the Aura? :confused:

Actually we talked, ive told you i will report this issues and that we will try to resolve it. But i guess you want this issues fixed right away? Well this is not going to happen right away.

And as sayed at RD forum, I am not sitting infront of my PC to wait for your PM or emails to reply to any issue you report. We do read forums and if you report bugs here its fine and we make notes allways. If you would follow us more and for longer time you would have known that we do that all the time. As sayed, we have better things to do than replying back on each things we get over pm.

This attack against URD is completely uncalled for. He should know that, had he spent more that ten minutes around here. URD's hardly in the business of ripping people off, I think everybody knows that.

Map.' Enable rear flap' for DRS

I was just running with the AI in the T5 and noticed that they were using "DRS" or some drag management method. My DRS is mapped but does not function. Is this a future fix item? I know we are in a beta mod. BTW, in a word the URD car mods are "stunning."
