RTL and Reuters, Sabiene Kem, his spokesman was who made the statemen.
Edited.
Soooo.... got a link? Not seeing anything at reuters or rtl... wouldn't expect news on this story to be kept for the evening bulletins...
No link, the news comes in a cable send by the agency just now.
My experience of Michael has been mostly as an adversary, but what an adversary! It is every sport’s person’s ambition to find out how they compare to the very best. Michael has won more races and Championships in Formula One than anyone else, so to have been in a World Championship showdown event against Michael is to find out once and for all how you rate as a driver. I am grateful to have had the chance to race Michael in some epic duels. He gave me that opportunity. I remember Suzuka 1994 as one of the greatest races of my life, and Adelaide! Sometimes you upset me, Michael, with the things you said, and I probably upset you too, by crashing into you! But all that is unimportant now. All that matters is that you recover and come back to your family. Wishing you all the goodwill in the world, Michael.

The alert message was fake.4 months under, good news he's becoming alert, hope it's just progressive recovery from here on
Good stuff, some very nice, heart felt messages of support for the great Schumi in there...

The alert message was fake.
Yeah, even with an almost immediate wake up, I've known and seen a person slowly have to learn to do everything again like a toddler, learn to walk, talk, hold their bladder, etc. It's not pretty and your description is perfect: It's not a movie.Anyways, just reading the false news about his wake up tell you it's crap.
He already been awake, not a lot, maybe 30 sec the first day, maybe it's 1h/day now, maybe it's 10min.
It's not a movie, he will not wake up tomorrow, walk and go at the next gp, it's a very long process. His family and close friends are going good to help him and we can only wait and think about him.
Has any news source said exactly how he is doing? Talking/walking/anything? Out of a coma doesn't mean he is better by any stretch. If he had enough brain damage, he might have to learn to walk/talk again. Granted, I could have just missed those articles about it as well.
The Schumacher-family, sadly has made clear that they don't want to give much, if any, updates of his progres... That I find a bit selfish... The guy has affected millions of people over the world who is concerned to some extent of his state.
"Yeah but they have to comprehend the shock..." they've had half a year to adjust to the situation. The fans deserves better I think.
Which came first the chicken or the egg? Which came first the closed attitude or the doctor-disguised journalists? The best thing they can do if you consider the stupidity of the media crowd.

Everyone has a right for their own dignity, being a famous sportsman doesn't mean they forgo their human rights.
To be honest, now he is on recovery, it is not really any of our business about the details. He is recovering some place.... that is all we should know for now. No doubt some tosser will find them and snap a picture just to put on a tabloid front page, that stuff makes me sick.
For sure! I'm not saying they should put him on plinth saying "look, how he's drooling, world!"... But they could be much, much better of giving thumbs up or thumbs down... If he is going to be a veggie be open about it, instead of dragging it out till a paparazzi finally will get the shot for shock and ave... Oh well different approaches I guess![]()
It is still none of our business if he can't talk, walk or speak.
A relayive of mine had similar accident. IC pressure very high released as well with surgery. He was not in coma for such long and had to undergo rehab.
He didn't get to remember people at first but he recovered 99%. He has risk of epileptic attacks as sequel.
It is clear that Michael is out of coma. It is not very difficult to imagine either that he is not by far fully OK yet. Otherwise we would have seen some more information.
However I am confident on his recovery which I think that will be fast. Fuerza Michael!
