Why my shadows look so bad?

Satangoss

I'm on a final stage of track creation and realized that CPU / GPU is able to manage lots of shadows whithout FPS hits so I started to set several objects either as "caster" or "caster and receiver" shadow.

But I'm seeing so crap shadows mainly alongside objects as walls, it definetively doesn't looks like a usual shadow, it creates some dark spots on the floor and nothing else as shown in the picture below. Not even by choose 2048 pts on Gmotor2 Max' Plugin I got something less squared.

Splitting your walls or shadow objects into smaller pieces should solve your problem. Smaller objects produce less shadow aliasing.

That's it Ehrlec, this sort out the square shadows. Don't know the impact on the FPS (and if it does), but thanks for the tip. :)
